Apologies if this has been posted before, but i just stumbled across this mini grill which I thought looks useful if you're somewhere where a full on open fire could be a bit iffy

Along similar lines Morrisons are doing cast iron bucket type barbies for £6.99 I've got one and with a few extra vent holes it works well with wood as well as charcoal.

A bit more expensive, but the Weber Smokey Joe is God.
It makes a great fire pit when you're done cooking... and the lid makes it easily-put-outable.
