Milbank bag

Hi all. I got hold of a Millbank bag today. Question is, how effective is it compared to my Katadyn camp water filter or a Surviva pure survival straw? Opinions appreciated thanks.

It is only for removing particulate. The water will still need to be treated.

I got hold of a Millbank bag today.

Is it brand spanking, never used, new? If so stick it through a cotton wash before* you try to use it .

As mountainm said, it's a particulate filter and you'll still need to boil / treat the filtered water.
