Low budget crook/spoon knife needed?

I've seen plenty of these knives around before but I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a low budget starting option? thanks in advance all.

Try the ones from Axminster tools about a tenner iirc.

I have a couple they are fine and of acceptable quality

If you are on a really tight budget, have a look at farriers hoof knives. I think frost make one starting at around £2.50. Not great, and they will need alot of sharpening to get them in shape for spoon carving...... but nice and cheap.

The cheaper hoof knives, with long hours of sharpening to set up - are what I use. I've had luck even with super cheap no-name brands...
