I didn`t use the larger one, but did use the x5. It is a nice little tool. Very convenient for camp-tasks. I prefer a slightly longer handle myself though, so the 14" one might be spot on.

I have the x10, an excellent tool. Great edge retention, easy to sharpen and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I only use it for liberating fat wood now, but have used it for everything else and has never let me down.

In the US these seem priced silly cheap. As he says in the video $25 or less.

Problem is here in the UK, they seem around £30... you can get nicer looking Hultafors imho.

I have the X5 too. It was bought for me, and the more I use it the more I like it. It punches above its weight and is now my go-to hatchet unless I really need the extra punch of something larger.
