Yo, if it's a bark spud then I'll pass.. lol I have no use what so ever for one. Still interested in the sheath though if it's in good nic with no wear throughs or anything. Wanna trade for that? I've got a few bits that might be similar in value.

I do have scrap leather, not thick stuff but good for bags, pouches etc. I can dig out what I have and photograph it for you tomorrow if you're itnerested. Also got flint and marcasite nodules for primitive fire lighting, knives, tools etc and empty shotgun shells for diy stuff.

Is it a bark spud??

Not sure to be honest. Looks short for a spud but long for a gouge?

Its curved and has a sharp(ish) edge. I think bark spuds are flat and blunt.

It looks more like a long handled gouge for wood turning than an actual chisel gouge.

Perhaps better pictures of the head, both sides would help. I must admit that I'm unsure as to what it is.
