Hi all, I am new here and will be introducing myself on relevant forum soon but....

Myself and my partner are planning a 4 day trip this weekend, We need some good recommendations for camping locations bushcraft style.....
Essentials
Little more than 3 hours away from london from victoria station.
Easy water access, streams ponds etc have all filter gear, but want to relax as opposed to digging for water every day.
camp fire happy and safe laws.
Knife safe laws, don't want a national forest location etc.....

My intentions are mainly to practice foraging and shelter making etc....
If any one has land they wouldn't mind visitors and company on that would be great.

We will be travelling using public transport so somewhere easy to get to on saturday morning with enough time left for shelter building is better. We might take tent just incase though.

Thanks in advance for all replies, and feel free to email details to me.

A lot of campsites appear to be closed until the end of march. Fortunately I have access to some woodland year round, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

Might be worth asking around the locations you think appropriate, and finding out if the landowners are amenable to your using the land.
