Leather advice required

Looking to make a medium sized soft leather pouch like this one here and I'm struggling a bit to work out what leather had been used for it any suggesstion would be appricated, seems to be about 1mm thick and very soft?

hi m8....theres a load of stuff on ebay....itll usually state flexibilty/thickness in the listing....just type in leather off cut for instance....heres summit similar:

Ask at the sofa shop for a sample book of leather.

I've been making pouches like this from an old leather jacket from the boot fare.

recycled charity shop leather ... ask them if they have any leather items that are to messed up to sell and offer them a couple of quid for anything that would otherwise earn them very little from the rag man - that way everyone wins!
You get cheap leather, the charity gets more money than they would otherwise and no cow has to die just to make a pouch
Re-use, repurpose, recycle!
