Lead in a pot - ???

I used a Primus Litech pot to melt down some lead recently. Cleaning it isn't a problem but I am concerned that there may be unseen residue of lead contained in the coating. I really don't want to use it unless I can be 100% sure that there is no chance of and form of lead releasing from the pot as I want to use it for my son (9 years old) and I. TBH I have lots of other pots to use but I just wondered if anyone had a view on this????

Ta very much :)

I was watching a dude on TV recently,( third world stuff) he was savaging electronic PSB boards out of TV'S computers, old radios that sort of stuff in a massive dump, tacking them home and melting it down in a large wok over an open fire, after he had recovered the lead he cooked his food in the same pan, he would have been quicker shooting the stuff strait in to his brain.
If it’s a good steel pan scrub it out with sand or emery cloth and it should be ok but I would go with the general opinion here and use it for lead only now.
