Hi guys,
This is my latest commission and my first knife with a makers mark.
The knife is 4mm O1 steel and 220mm long (as if you couldn't guess!)
The handle is red deer antler with stabilized sycamore, mosaic pins and black liners.

Honest comments and criticism always appreciated.

Thanks,
Daniel.

a nice blade, my only thought is the antler is a little harsh like that, maybe rounded of a little, but thats just...

the makers mark is very good, i take it thats etched onto the blade???

i love the sycamore, wonderful warm colour, the blade looks perfect too.....

overall grade 9.99, ok 10 out of ten...;)

regards.

chris.

Thanks Chris,
The antler does have a sharp transition but you hand naturally sits behind it. the corner is also not a sharp one, I guess it is just difficult to see because it is so white.

Personally I would prefer not to have the mix of wood and antler in the handle, unless there is some functional reason for it that I don't know about. Apart from that - very impressive.
You'd hate my Foxton Jam shoes then. :) What would be the reason not having the mix btw?
