Last snowshoe hike of winter

Spring is finaly in the air here, the temperatures are rising and the snow is starting to melt ,

Yesterday I decided to get out for a last showshoe hike in my area, within the next few weeks the snow in the valeys here will have melted and spring will start up properly. Even now with snow still here I can here thespring song of the birds in the trees.

I thought winter was on its way back here too, but it looks like it is coming back with a vengeance starting coming weekend!

Lovely...................we had some snow a week ago but today the temperature was 20°C in the shade, spring has definately sprung, even my sap is rising but winter may not have had it's last word just yet.
