I've somehow managed to persuade Mrs Cumbrian to let me out for an overnighter of the Christmas hols, despite the fact that she's got a boisterous (almost) five year old and a new baby on her hands. I'm not sure of the date, and it'll be weather dependant ( ie, as long as it's possible to paddle I'll be going ), but if anyone's up for a short notice overnight canoe trip, let me know.

Cheers, Michael.

been out 3 times. twiced on the sharpness to gloucester canal and once up the cotswold waterpark. Its a great boat mate, get a few funny looks portaging it on my own :D . Struggled abit in the wind on one outing so have taken to carrying a weighted barrel up front for trim.

It needs a camping trip, but it will take me 4-5 hours to drive up.
