Knife maker info - "Walker, England"

Hi all, some info please if anyone can help. My main bushcrafting knife is one I got off e-bay about 8 years ago, I really like it, it takes a good edge (once Ben Orford re-ground it for me to get rid of the secondary bevel someone had ruined it with!) and fits my hand well. I've been asked about it a couple of times and I'm wondering about the maker. It's marked "Walker England" and I was told it was 01 tool steel. That's all I have and googling has not helped. Anyone know anything?
