Just wrapped this up and posted to the states, really happy with how this build turned out for a policeman in the states no less.

80crv2
5mm
Verified 59rockwell (Wilson tester)
Carbon scales with black then blue G10 liners
Removable stainless hardware for the scales
Sabre grind
Acid etched then gun blued to achieve the finish

oof! :) That is quite an article. Really nicely done.

Photos sometimes seem to distort dimensions ... how long is the blade

Yes, I was hoping it was bigger than it seemed. Its a fine thing ... one can see where its genes come from, and it looks so handy

Law enforcement eh? Nearly 7 inch blade..Well that should stop those pesky kids playing football in the street...;)..Just kidding.
That's a really nice knife, I like the overall size / shape and sabre grind too..

I like the little design on the cutting edge, where the sharp edge starts well in front of the 'whatever' ( being a Foreign Devil, I am lacking that word).
That is the area I always cut myself on, except the last major injury I did where I punctured a finger joint with the tip.

Yeah it’s essentially an integral finger choil I think you would call it, to lock your hand in when gripped. It’s actually a bit of one of my inner nightmares my hand sliding down on to the blade lol
