Just had my first TBE (Tick) jab in Sweden

So I'm currently on a long trip to Sweden and Norway, and SWBO has organized for the whole family to be vaccinated against Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tick-borne_encephalitis Mainly for our 5 year old, who has had a few ticks already, but also for us, as we spend a fair amount of time out-doors and here in Scanidavia.
As far as I know (any Doctors feel free to correct me) the vaccination isn't easily available in the UK. Only problem is we need a second injection in 1 - 3 months time (luckily we're her for 6 weeks, and back in Sept and at Christmas), and then another in a years time. After that it's a top up every three years.
Will still have to be careful though, as there's no jab Lyme disease http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyme_disease
Good News: One more disease we don't have to worry about, and the jab didn't hurt.
Bad News: Paying a total of £390 for three people to receive the series of injections hurt more than the needle itself!
