I was wondering if they are as good as they sound. I'd be greatful for any comments as I was thinking about buying one for my Scout group.

Yes got one....works extremely well!! Instant hot, almost boiling water depending on water flow through it. Would be idea for group situations for instant hot water for cooking, washing etc.
