First up are 2 JLT Outdoorsman, both are made from 3mm 01 tool steel. Hand made, heat treated and tempered by me to a hardness of 58-59 Hrc.
Both have figured maple scales (with a slight rippling in them), there is a choice of red and black scales (one of each). Brass fixings
Blade length - 95mm
Overall length - 205mm
blade depth - 26mm
Blade thickness - 3mm
Grind - Scandi
3mm veg tan leather sheath included.
£85 Including shipping, fully insured
Next is one of the first of the JLT Kephart, I have been using one for the past week and I must say that I think that Horace Kephart had hit the nail on the head with this design.
The model pictured here has a convex grind but is is also available in scandinavian grind too.
After studying many pictures and references from Kephart's "Camping and Woodcraft" I've tried to replicate his knife to the smallest detail, once I tried the prototype, I couldn't see any need for changes to the design, it really is a great all round bushcraft knife.
Steel - 01 high carbon Tool steel
Blade length - 4 1/2"
Overall length - 9"
Blade thickness - 1/8"
Scales - Black Cherry with black liners
Temper - 58-59 HRC
Sheath included, pm for more details
£85
And finally I have 2 wood carving knives With a american black walnut handle with a 2.5mm thick 01 tool steel blade HT 61Hrc. The back of the blade is rounded to be kinder to the thumb
Blade length - 40mm
Overall length - 170mm
Blade depth - 10mm
£40
As always my work is guaranteed for life against faulty workmanship and materials.
Thanks for looking,
ATB
