I just noticed in my NFU magazine an ad for Out of town if anyone is interested, quite expensive at £52.75 for all four volumes but i seem to remember they were a great series. Unfortunatly there is no website listed but the phone no is 08707890300

when I was a youngster many moons ago, Jack Hargreaves was my hero, I'd rather watch out of town than blue peter any day.

What can I say about the legend, I may be getting on in years but still remember sitting with my dad watching his programs about fishing and trying them out at the weekend (never as successful though)

One of my heroes as well.....at the time it just made want to race out of the house and into the fields and woods and try to see them through his eyes and with his passion.

That brings back memories, i used to watch Out of Town with my Grandfather, i used to sit on his knee when it was on, he is regretfully a long time gone of this world, think i will have to get me a set, money well spent, just for the memories if nothing else.

Just noticed that Music and Memories are charging £ 98.95 for series 1 thru 9 and advertise it as temp out of stock, Amazon on the other hand sell all 9 volumes at £ 87.66 plus as it is over £ 15.00 you get free delivery if you order all nine volumes, Amazon also say they are not released until Jan 9th '06, link follows:
