It's snowing!

Midday saturday it was nice and sunny here (mid-Kent) as it had been all week, warm enough for short sleeves while sitting in the garden practising wood-carving.
I wake up today (3:00pm) and it's raining.
Three hours later we've got sleet.
Two hours later we've got snow and by 10:00pm it's settling well.
By 3:00am it's turned back to rain and the snow's being washed away but it's the last thing I expected to see down south in April. Especially after the boring winter we've had - I could count the amount of frosty mornings this year on one hand.
If it's not been washed away by the time the sun comes up then I'm off into the garden to look for fox sign
