It's a shame that Verdigris Agaric aren't edible, as the woodchip at the bottom of my garden is erupting with them. Mind you, looking at the colour and slimy texture this is a mushroom that says "don't eat me". There was one small cluster last year, but this year there are masses of them. Still, this may be an indicator of a generally good fungus harvest this Autumn. I've been seeing a lot of varieties in the local woods over the past few weeks, including some nice boletes, parasols, oysters and aniseed toadstools among the edible ones.
