Maybe worth looking at for those wanting something different on the trail but Huel have released a Hot and Savoury range of SIX MREs type product. Just add water.

Maybe a little light on calories but as an addition to something more calorie dense for minimal prep time could be a useful staple.

"With THREE new Hot & Savoury flavours, picking your favourite just got so much harder. Sweet & Sour is a mouthwatering mix of sweet pineapple, zesty peppers, spices, and scallions for some extra zing. Creamy Korma is perfect for those who live life on the mild side – an irresistible blend of creamy coconut, delicate spices, sweet sultanas, and cooling cilantro. Madras is our hottest flavor yet – packed with tomato, sweet potato, and more heat than you can shake a (cinnamon) stick at.

They join our original flavours – Tomato & Herb and Thai Green Curry – as well as smoky Mexican Chilli."
