How to sew a sheath?

Okay, I'm working on a knife sheath, and I need to do sewing now. I don't really know how, I'll admit it: my mum used to sew sheaths for me

You're really supposed to do it using 2 needles right? Anyone have a link to a tutorial, or an explanation of this technique please?

Yes there's a welt too. I'm sewing it now. Man, I was not born to be a leather worker. I'm having to ask my mother for advice every 30 seconds.

i think you will do a great job buddy, you ask the right questions, and are prepared to learn.
