Has any one used this plant as food , finding it difficult to source good info on its food value and its use as a first aid plant.

For ever barking at the moon in the middle of nowhere,

I don't know about the rest of the plant but the seeds are definitely edible, raw or cooked. Packed full of oils.

The trick is getting the things as the seed pods explode open. If you have ever been on conservation projects to get rid of the stuff then you will know how annoying that can be.
