Does anybody know of a UK stockist of any of the Hennessy camo range? I am aware that I could submit a request direct to the US :spam: but may be hit by a large import tax bill. :hammock:

Many thanks. :thankyou:

I have contacted them and waiting on a reply from the relevant point of contact. There is, to my knowledge, no remarks on the website giving any inclination as to weather this is standard practice, which is a shame as the US version has a lot more products for sale as opposed to the UK-based one.

Is that their 'Handling Fee'? I bought a knife from a maker in the US, and the handling fee was as much as all the customs + taxes. Sick!

I have received a reply to my question from Hennessey HQ in the US/Canada and they have stated that the postage fee takes into consideration the VAT/import duty as the item will come from their UK storage facility.

As FGYT was good enough to mention, I was informed that it is best to ring them/email them ahead of placing an order to check on availability. My request for an Evader led to them telling me that they will not have stocks in the UK for the next 2 weeks but should I wish, they will contact me direct prior to this so I can place my order and be ahead of the que.

Yup... Not a bad return if you think about the APR for a small loan over a few days. They also fail to deliver your parcel and issue a letter of collection, due to a fee being owed.

My knife from the states was £6 VAT, £5 RM hadling charge (for payment of VAT at customs).

Not alot you can do about it, good 'ol royal snail.
