So I'm in the woods , for an overnight I have never had oat meal in the woods , I have some musli with me , oat meals with dehydrated fruits , I forgot to check it out home , can you guys tell me how to prepare it in the morning , I don't have a lot of battery life so I'll log on in an hour or two , Thanks !

Soak it overnight in twice the volume of water; then you'll just need to warm it for breakfast. Maybe add a little more water or milk whilst cooking to taste, but it'll need very little cooking if soaked.

You can eat it raw, but if you just gently simmer it (not boil, just hot enough to start to 'bloop', and stir it almost constantly, it'll make porridge. If you've soaked it overnight it doesn't take long before it thickens up.

Hindsight will show you that you will need 2 pots next time.
One to boil water in for any reason and a second one to cook in.
