A friend of mine has asked me for help finding something quite specific and I told him I knew just where to ask.
He is a reenactor, mainly WW2 but sometimes also Napoleonic era. He is looking for a free standing grill to put over an open fire on which to keep a kettle on the boil and cook his sausages.
Simple enough request so far but it has to at least look authentic for the era that he is portraying. Mainly he wants it for the Napoleonic anniversary later on this year.
As far as he has described it sounds like something frontiersmen might use. A bit like the grill suspended on a tripod you can get, only something standing on legs rather than suspended from the tripod.
Any suggestions for something that fits the period described?
