Hello! I'm excited to join this group. I live in Aberdeen with my husband John and we try to live as self-sufficiently as possible. Living where we do is definitely a bonus: the wild larder we're surrounded with seems to know no bounds! We have two chest freezers that gradually get filled during July-November, then we spend the rest of the year eating it all . Mushrooms and fruit are the main things, and we dry leaves (trees and flowers) and chaga for tea. Being by the sea we also have access to the seaweeds. We're washing our clothes with bashed up dried conkers. I'm here really to learn about all the other things that people are doing in terms of self-sufficiency.
