I have an idea for a piece of kit i am thinking of getting knocked up . I have got to the point of material choice and am unsure as to what to use . The item i am looking at getting made is a giant hammock (of sorts) . any ideas what material i can use for it ? It will need to be strong enough to take at least 3 people with very little give . The material itself will need to be a 9 foot triangle , not sure about seems , depends on if it will strengthen or weaken the material itself . I have been suggested "dacron" but apparently it stretches .
Cheers

Hi Pumbaa,

Modern Sail cloth may be worth a look, easy to get hold of, strong etc. Not sure about it stretching or not but I doubt there would be much give in it.
