Haws

Went on a foraging bimble this afternoon, only just got back, met a couple of the farm hands and well, we set the world to rights.

I went out to collect some more Sloes and a few Haws, got 2lb of Sloes which is all i need for a few more bottles of gin also collected 3lb of Haws that im going to turn into fruit leather with the help of my dehydrator.

Some of the Haws this year are huge, more akin to cherries in size than Haws, still im not complaining, the bigger the better.

Your sloe's look a good size too...

They are around twice the size locally this year, along with the haws, even the rowans are looking swelled, and are finally starting to sweeten up

All looks good fella, looking forward to the rosehips too this year. Everything is fruiting like mad.
