Just made this today

The sheath designed for the left side and can be used on the right. It's made from one piece of 3-4mm thick leather; that has been double stitched with extra stitching at stress points, to give it maximum durability. It has been stitched using artificial sinew, the edges burnished and a polish given to the whole of the sheath. The loop will fit a belt that is 2 inches across or less
