Hi all,
just would like to introduce you this axe, done recently by my good friend Stefano Trentini. Stefano is a stunning knife-maker IMHO.
Specs: Inox 420HC, lenght OAL 325mm, weight 900gr.

Besides materials used and the final results, maybe most interesting, here you may see all the working steps of this axe:

Enjoi, cheers

i quite like that, something a bit different. couple of questions, why does the handle pass through an eye in the axe head rather than just getting welded to it? surely where the handle passes through the head will be prone to rust? also, why hasn't he cleaned the welds up around the head? it seems a little bit strange to me to go to all the trouble of shaping and polishing two pieces of steel so nicely and then just welding them together.
