This is the guitar strap I made for a mate of mine a good few months back now-I've just re-discovered the pictures, although I still cant find the ones of the actual finished off item.
I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture and still catch the details!
He asked me to include the emerald green, otherwise it would have been "broon" of one shade or another.
I saddle stitched the whole thing as it has a fine suede on the inside, then I went around again and ( I think?) blanket stitched it as well, mainly for decoration-never again!
I did ask what he would like on it, thankfully, he said;"Oh- just do some of your stuff" so I did!
its about 3.5 inches wide but I cant recall how long it is
I know it took me about 15 hours to stitch around it twice, although, not all at once it's 3.5mm veg tan with a beautiful quality suede lining or "other side"
In retrospect, I would have used a brightly coloured thread, as the white discoloured a bit from the tan dye, but I was fairly pleased with it and my mate seemed happy enough.
