Got given a load.

(I have already made some `random` chutney, though it will need a few weeks to mature and taste...)

any other recipes??

Or failing that, any ideas as to how to make them go a brave red colour?? (ones already yellow, though I hold little hope for the rest)

Pop them next to a bunch of bananas and it should speed the ripening process.

I made some chutney a couple of months ago with a glut of greens from my garden, maturing a treat and lovely with a bit of stilton!

I leave mine on the inside brightly lit window sil.

I didn't grow any red ones this year:(

I had about 5. I bunged my green ones into a brown paper bag with 1 ripe tomato. Takes about a week, but it seems to work.

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
I have brought the hanging basket with tumbling toms inside this week in some vague hope i might get bush ripened cherry toms for yule. That just sounds plain unnatural to me.

What is the recipe for green tomato chutney?
Is there any other recipes out there?
