I went to Ronnie Sunshines shop last year and on a whim bought an Armex 80lb pistol crossbow. I was impressed with it's build and frankly it was cheap.
I unboxed it some time ago and it's been hanging around ever since waiting for the weather to turn more favourable so I can set up something and have a play in the paddock.
Last weekend was that opportunity. So I finally came to assemble it and found that I had lost the Alum Screw that retains the arms.
I Googled the crossbow and discovered that Armex is a UK company based out of Birmingham. So I dropped them a line earlier in the week and they have contacted me today with the spares ready to ship. Had to pay for them which seems fair enough as I have probably lost the bit.
If it had been a far eastern job then I guess it would have been a write off or I would have had to bodge it. Don't fancy bodging an 80lb crossbow though!
