I do remember laying in my sleeping bag on a hill in the Scottish borders watching the Geminids for hours, I was certain I could actually hear some of them.
Never seen the sky here as clear and just walked the mutt. Saw several really bright "shooting stars" in a ten minute walk. Already a thick frost down here too.
After acclimatising my eyes sitting on my toilet and looking out at a small section of the clear night sky from my bathroom window, taking into consideration the Hughley light polluting town, in 10 minute's i have seen sweet diddly squat!!!
