I'm selling a JRB Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock that I bought from Shewie a couple of weeks' back: http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70745

I bought it for my son, but before it arrived he pounced on another of my hammocks so this one's surplus to requirements. I haven't rigged it, used it or even got it out of the packaging - it's as delivered.

Yours for £110 delivered (I paid £120 from Shewie).

Cheers

Great. Can't wait for it to arrive as I have the hammock bug now, after another weekend hanging between 2 trees, at this wekend's Sussex/SE Meet. Now I have to stop myself getting one of their underblankets....

Update: I have just spent 3 days at the excellent Bushcfat Magazine meet over in Kent, where I used the BMBH for the 2 nights. It has an amazing flat lie & I really like the catenery cut on the side (long curve) so that you can see out of the sides easier. I had a bit of shoulder squeze but no more than normal & overall it's a winner. I will try it with an Exped mat next, which makes a hard to beat combination. Very pleased with it.

Good to hear you're getting on with it, just be careful with the Exped as it raises your centre of gravity quite a lot and can be tippy

Thanks for the advice. I have promised myself an Exped anyway, as I want to get a Bivy at some stage so I have both options covered . I have heard the the BMBH's with a pad can be very good; quite a few people over on the hammock forums rate them. I will give it a try & see what it is like. Some people think that the BMBH on it's own is tippy, which is sort of tru when you get in but after that I found it very stable. The only downside so far is you can't curl up into a fetal position as the sides carry all the tension so they push against you when you are doing that. All in all I am a happy customer. For sitting up, with plenty behind your back wheile overlooking the hills, they are the best. First time out I sat there for 4 hours thinking about life & watching some lambs in the field below.
