As part of my big jacket clearout, I'm selling a brand new and unused biker's wax jacket. As you can see, the badge and design are absolute classics - but it is in fact a tailor-made replica of that particular jacket, so I won't mention its name here :D

I had this made by a UK specialist earlier this year, but have decided that since I don't own a motorbike, and haven't needed to wear the jacket to the woods over the summer, it's going to full victim to the cull of my wardrobe. The jacket is made of a medium-weight wax canvas with cotton tartan lining, corduroy collar and brass fittings. Stitching and materials are both excellent and up to the standards of the real thing; perhaps the only difference is the brass is lacquered so it will take a little while to 'distress'. All the large pockets have fold over flaps on the top so no danger of losing anything on a bike or out in the woods.

The jacket includes:
- Two deep waist pockets
- Two breast pockets (the left one is angled as a map pocket)
- Internal zipped pocket
- Two arm pockets (modelled on Cowen Commando, one for pens, one for FFD/fags)
- Waist belt
- Adjustable cuffs
- Padded shoulders and elbows

For sizing: it's about the same as a Barbour Cowen Commando in C50, which is a perfect fit for me at 6'2" / 47" chest / 17st.

And here's the best bit - £65 posted to your door. Payment by PayPal, marked as gift or monies owed.

Cheers,

Tobes

Presumably that would make it a Falstaff jacket? :)

What it the pit-to-pit measurement, please - I'd like it to fit but I suspect I'd have to hit the bench press a bit for it not to resemble a sack on me....

Cheers

:D

Will dig out that measurement but can't do so until later today. The dimensions I gave to the maker allowed for a jumper etc underneath the jacket, and were:
Chest: 49"
Length: 31"
Arm: 28"
Neck: 18"

Cheers

What a great catch, thats a cracking looking jacket.
It would have fiited me in a tho' :(

If I could be so bold Tobes, who did the jacket for you?
You can PM me if you don't want to mention in public.

Thanks
Chris
