I didn't actually finish the knife. I bought it recently but it's a touch too small for my massive hands....

Looks different & nice without pins. Hummm... cleaner looking as a whole. I don't think the scales will fall off without the pins.

That's rather rude, fella.

Rat

I offer unreserved full apology for that. I was just menting on how it looked to me without any second thought, but later realised that it is not right thing to say on this section.

When I was trying to edit - it wouldn't allow me to edit. Maybe it is meant to be like that in classified section.

No worries at all Spader...the sheath was made by 'Stew' on BB as a first attempt 'woodlore' style neck sheath...the stiching is not the neatest...but the sheath is light round the neck with the knife and works well....

Thanks Jon.

I was looking to make my very first sheath and it came to my attention. :) I am dreading how mine will turn out LOL. Anyhow I should have thought what I was writing before posting though. But when posted - I couldn't edit.

I also happen to have the Baby Shing blade - which I like very much, and is my possible next handling project.

I think this Shing Bushy will be a great buy for anyone looking for this type of blade - in fact it looks quite unique with the pinless scales which has very interesting patina. Leather of the sheath looks high quality too. Stitching can be easily redone if one is bothered with the looks. But hey~ for the price - I would think that Shing Bushy is a steal. I would have bought it if I didn't have the Shing bushy blade already.

cheers

Jay
