Saw the new Nº21 pack from Fjall Raven this weekend. Very nice, …...but £200, ……..seriously ?!!

Their pricing policy is getting more ridiculous.

I've always wondered though - what are the things with the two parallel vertical slots on backpacks?

I agree with Jaan, £200 is what I'd expect to pay for a technical pack with some design considerations rather than something that's a bit retro looking.

Maybe one for the purists who try and convince us that canvas packs are comfortable :)

I bought a used Fjällräven Vintage sack from a friend at a very low cost.

It is similar because it also has that "retro" look. It is/was the only FR sack
which had the # 630 Olive colour, which I love. I've even got several
complete FR outfits in # 630. Jackets, trousers, shirts, the lot...
(For different seasons...)

Anyway, I wanted a small backpack in the same colour, but the second I
saw the Vintage (that's acctually it's name) I knew I would hate those
buckets and crap on the sholder straps.

I am now in the process of replacing all those buckets, leather and
black webbing with new webbing in exactly the right colour and
new ITW Nexus buckles.

In the end It will become an amazing packpack, unique and weird! :D

If've even spray painted the FR leather brand pach in a similar green shade!

:lmao:

As soon as the woods start to become darker the #630 Olive
just becomes invisible. Try it! It's supernatural...

Hey, Outdoor and Bushcraft is at an alltime high right now. It's a sellinghype and the prices reflect that. Not just Fjällraven's....
