Hi Delbach!

Sighting a Kingfisher is always a treat for me. The ones where I live seem to be pairing up. I saw two together yesterday. Usually when I see them, I see solitary birds hunting.

A few years ago I took a picture of a woodpecker just as my lad ran into the patio door and it really looked like an oil painting it was beautiful

There were two where I was today ,but one flew off and my little camera wasn't good enough to get a decent picture.tomorrow I have a cunning plan to get a few decent photos

Great little birds, fortunately we have them along the Hamble river but still don't see them every day and never close enough to photograph even on their regular feeding perches.
