Thought I'd have a bash at one of these as an every day carry.
Blade 3x20x63mm made from flat stock and the Handle is 102mm long, so should be great for most bushy tasks, carving, gathering bits, and food prep. It'll be used for all those boxes, cord, ect at work too.

Slapped some local birch burl on as scales, and i'll be making a horizontal leather belt pouch (like those mobile phone types) with a press stud closure flap.

Hope you like :). I'll prob just have the one screw bolt through the front if I make any more with a solid pin in the rear to replace the other. Guess I'll see how it frees up over time, and if its needed.

Nice one mate, looks like a nice user and a great first attempt! I've just finished a blade for my first folder and have birch for the scales too. I'm trying to source some Chicago bolts or screws in a small quantity without much luck... I was tempted to nick the fixings off a svord but I'm trying to avoid brass on mine.

I've got a load of press studs and setter I haven't been using if you need one for your sheath, save you buying a set if you don't use them often.

Thanks everyone. Have to say this is my favorite knife now, and will get used no end day to day.
Chad, I could do with a decent press stud as ive just ran out mate. If you want a bolt or two just say fella, i'll post them out to ya.
