FireFlash Firesteel

Hi folks

I remember reading a thread about FireFlash firesteels and Light My Fire firesteels,
and can't for the life of me find the one now!

Could anyone link it to me, or even better tell me of somewhere where the FireFlash firesteels are sold.

Or is it 6 of 1 and 2, 3's of the other in regards to the FireFlash and Light my Fire ones?

Fireflash- I got mine from Woodlore-quite a while ago now. excellent kit easily the best I have used so far.

Next on my list, is the Light my fire version, I use these for our students and they are fine.

As I've said before; I have no idea if the composition of the rods themselves are different but there is a marked difference in performance, between my fireflash and the LMF.

As far as blanks go; I've tried a few and find them slightly inferior, so I don't bother with these any more. If I'm making up a firesteel set, I use the LMF and just rehandle it.
