Here's a thing I haven't seen before.
Using permeable rock as carrier for paraffin to make a fire starter. Apart from the paraffin it seems completely reusable.

It just seems a bit fiddley for what it is,a tea strainer on a chain.

I'm guessing that mesh would burn out after a couple of uses.

Huh. Stuart showed me his set up using discs cut from pizza tiles as a stove, plan to use alcohol or paraffin, no need for pot stand.
