Right Filipendula ulmaria,The plant that smell's a lot like germolene and can relive headache's and such if chewed on anyway as i am an asthmatic should i avoid this plant as a natural painkiller remedy ? As i read on the net i should as it may induce Samter's triad/asthmatic symptom's

Yup you should be cautious about anything that contains significant amounts and varying types of salicylates: spiraein (salicylaldehyde) primveroside, methyl salicylate, salicin, salicylic acid, spirein, speraeoside etc etc.

Aspirin induced asthma is becoming more and more prevalent these days, as I said in another thread (bush medicine) I do tend to see more of these patients than one should.

However, you should not have a problem with Cornus canadensis (Bunchberry) or Epilobium angustifolium (we call it fire weed), though you should check that out for yourself.
