Well folks it's another day and another bamboo bbq skewer project, this time a small Fig 4 trap, the dead fall is my small strop (the leather provided a nice grippy surface), i tried using a DC4 but couldn't get it set.
The component pieces have a small amount of tacky stuff on the notches to help setting the thing up and in reality it took me longer to set it, than it did to carve it, it's not the easiest thing to set with arthritic hands and fingers, but hey, i did enjoy the challenge, even if it did nearly get thrown across the room on more than one attempt.
Component pieces were carved with my SAK Hiker, the piece of Bluetack was used to stop the bottom slipping out.
no carving for a couple of days now as everything just hurts at the moment - bleedin' arthritis.
