Field Guide Software?

Does anybody know of any ‘field guides’ that deal with UK fauna and flora for laptop and PDA devices etc?

I use the DVD-ROM guide to British Birds v8 (Published by Birdguides) and find it useful, I don't have any experience of guides for other fauna or flora. Hope this helps.

Have you tried plants for a future?

You can download the database, which does contain some picture, but the DB contains over 7000 plants, their uses, edibility and medical values.
It will open it with MS access, a very good tool.
