Few tools and stuff from todays hunt!

Manky painted billhook, some files, chisel, wire snips, hammer, two great hickory handles, knife steel, drill bits and a sewing spike wheel all for only £12. I intend on sorting that billhook out and using the files as knife blade material.

Also scored this vintage shaving set!



All the must haves and a little german pocket knife.

Nice to end a tiresome and annoying day with some new junk to hoard.

The vintage shaving set is sweet, old school badger hair brush.. *shudders* in one of the soap tubes. I think the long tube is for talc power, it has holes in the end.. and the bottom has one hole. Maybe a long soap tube though?

All perfectly intact, chromed and alot of it stamped 'made in England, Sheffield'. The german knife has a snapped main blade tip and the second blade is the size of my finger nail due to use, grinding etc but still nice. Got me some Gillette silver blue blades in the mail to try with my DE safety razors too. SO should be fun getting to learn to shave with one.

Oh and few whacks on the billhook blade had it free that old axe handle! handle will be saved for another project though as it's solid.
