Sorry if this is cheeky but anyone got any ideas for a family holiday in Devon? Got a toddler and love the outdoors so intend walking, cycling, beach day, Dartmoor, Exmoor and sightseeing. Where is the best base to see and do it all?
Current best idea is somewhere on the coast in or near Exmoor. Think I saw a campsite which allows fires. Sounds ok for after toddler is asleep.
To summarise, we need suggestions for the best area of Devon, ideas for campsites (large tent), places to go/walk/cycle/explore/sightseeing, etc. TBH I think I could spend a month without seeing it all, it's that sort of county I think. As good as Cornwall or better, if that's not too controversial.
