Hi,

I'm looking for a standard Fällkniven F1 (Satin, Zytel Sheath) with sheath.

I would swap it for my Fällkniven A1.

For reference, I checked with Heinnie (http://www.heinnie.com), and the standard A1 is considerably more expensive than the standard F1 (£55).

I bought my A1 from Globetrotter (a shop in Germany in Hamburg) in 2003. It has a leather sheath and both the sheath and knife are in very good condition. The leather sheath is not available any more afik.

The blade has a convex grind, and was only sharpened with the DC4. It has no dents, kinks, rolling or nicks. The marks on the side are from my lack of sharpening skills, and are only cosmetic (you can feel it, and it probably can be polished off). There are some minor cosmetic marks on the back from using a magnesium fire lighting stick. The edge is (nearly) shaving sharp. Please see pictures attached, and sorry for the bad quality of the pics.

Here's the deal: Either you have a Fällkniven F1 in a similar, very good condition, or you buy one wherever (I’m not associated with Heinnie or any other dealer). We swap, each of us paying our own postage (I'm based in Germany). I'd like to see some pictures of the knife first though.

You get a vintage Fällkniven A1 with leather sheath in very good condition for the price of a standard F1 plus postage. Sounds good? IM me!

Alternatively, I would consider selling the A1. Make me an offer I can’t refuse.

I have posted this on BushcraftUK, SotP, and British Blades, all under my nick malente.

Any questions, just ask.

Cheers for looking,

Mike
