i have come across a gem of a book! (not plant lore)

for those teaching bushcraft or have an interest in plant mythology this book it fantastic!

yup i know about "Plant lore", but this one is really good!

it's called:

Plants of mystery and magic by Michael Jordan

for example it has 3, A4 pages on mistletoe it's uses habitat and a colour photo, then loads of info on it's name and cultural associations.

it goes through alot of plants very familiar to bushcrafters for various reasons:

nettle, dandilion, bramble, bracken.
a sperate section for trees and funghi.

i borrowed mine from the local library then i got a new one for fathers day!

children, :approve: everyone should have one! :D

Hi Rappleby, you would'nt per chance have the ISBN number for the book.I would be grateful if you did.

I also have his book Mushroom Magic that accompanied his tv series on channel four a few years ago,its a good read for begginers who want to start foraging for fungi,it dispelled alot of myths about collecting and eating fungi.
