Does anyone know any uses for Eucalyptus? I have a lot in my area, and I always hear about their medicinal uses. Speaking of, are there any that use leaves without distilling the oil from them? I appreciate the help.

I think to get useful quantities of the oil, you need to harvest when the weather is hot.
The wood is hard and even-grained. Quite nice for carving.

I believe you can make a herbal tea from the leaves, though I would check that to be correct before actually trying it.

Antiseptic, removing tar or grime from paintwork, stain remover, clothes washing and it smells nice.
Many species of Eucalyptus produce cyanide in their leaves at certain times of the year.
Exactly which ones those are, I do not know.
I do know that the Koala are very fussy and move around to avoid the cyanide (as would I!)

How exactly do you use it as an antiseptic? Do you just apply the leaves, and if so, do you apply them fresh or seasoned?
As Robson says though, and he I right in some cases it can be toxic so I would not use it for extended periods of time.
When is it toxic? I read that it was toxic in high doses, but nothing about a time frame. Also, is it possible to steam-distill the oil at the campsite, and if so, how might I go about it?
I meant I would not use it continuously over a long period of time. But generally as an antiseptic you wouldn't be and if you need to probably best to see a doctor. Lol.
